黄杨是许多庭院的结构植物：低矮边界、正式篱笆、造型球、入口绿化、墓园和历史花园都常见。虫害发生时，街上就能看到变化。初夏还绿色的灌木，几周后可能像被烤焦，内部被吃空。\n\n 北美官方和 extension 来源正在追踪确诊地区和检疫区。Cornell 提到纽约州 2021 年首次发现，并说明已知感染县的黄杨苗木移动受到限制。Virginia、Canada、Maryland 等也发布指南。欧洲和英国的经验说明，晚发现会让问题长期化。\n\n 难点是诊断。干旱、winter burn、boxwood blight、leafminer 和根系压力都会让黄杨发褐。黄杨绢野螟通常在灌木内部留下证据：网丝、虫粪、被啃到只剩叶脉的叶片，以及黄绿色带条纹幼虫。\n\n ## 五个检查点\n\n 先扒开灌木。戴手套，把中部和下部枝条轻轻分开。幼虫常在浓密枝叶里取食。如果内部有丝网、被啃叶片和粪粒，就不要只按热害处理。\n\n 看叶片。干旱通常更均匀；虫害会刮食、咬缺，甚至留下主脉。注意被丝粘住的叶片、裸露枝条和新鲜虫粪。\n\n 找幼虫和蛹。小幼虫很难看见，较大的幼虫通常绿色或黄绿色，有深色头部和纵向条纹。真正造成损伤的是幼虫阶段。\n\n 与病害区分。boxwood blight 常有叶斑、快速落叶和枝条黑色条纹；leafminer 会让叶片鼓起或有潜道；winter burn 多出现在迎风暴露面。黄杨绢野螟是咀嚼损伤，并伴随网丝和虫粪。\n\n 检查附近所有黄杨。第一个变褐的灌木不一定是唯一受害者。查看篱笆、盆栽、造型树和新买苗木。\n\n ## 前 48 小时\n\n 把前两天当作隔离窗口。拍下整株、内部损伤、幼虫、网丝和虫粪。不要在了解当地规则前移动盆栽、枝条或修剪物。照片可帮助 extension 或农业部门判断。\n\n 不要把可疑材料堆肥。普通堆肥并不能可靠阻挡活幼虫或蛹。许多指南要求把感染材料装袋、留在现场保护，或在需要报告的地区联系植物健康部门。检疫区内植物和修剪物移动可能受限。\n\n 查官方本地规定。美国可看 USDA APHIS、州农业部门和 extension；加拿大看 CFIA；欧洲和英国看本地植物健康指南。处置方式会随 county、检疫状态和垃圾规则变化。\n\n 轻微感染时，可手动摘除幼虫或剪掉最严重枝条，但废料必须密封。大篱笆靠手摘通常不够，但能帮助确认诊断并暂时降低取食压力。\n\n ## Btk 的位置\n\n Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki，简称 Btk，常用于年轻鳞翅目幼虫。它需要幼虫吃到处理过的叶片才有效，不是万能喷剂。密集黄杨只喷外层往往打不到内部幼虫。若当地允许使用，应严格按标签，重点覆盖灌木内部叶片。\n\n 几天后复查，并在 7 至 14 天后再次检查。雨水、灌溉和新芽都会降低覆盖效果。大篱笆可能需要专业设备。Btk 比广谱杀虫剂更有针对性，但如果喷到其他毛虫取食植物上，也可能影响非目标幼虫。\n\n ## 何时求助\n\n 如果篱笆很大、很贵、具有历史价值、刚购买、位于检疫区或反复感染，应联系专业人员或 extension。正式篱笆代表多年生长成本，苗圃和园林服务更要避免通过修剪物、设备或销售传播害虫。\n\n 诊断不确定时也应求助。病害、根系问题和虫害外观可能重叠。处理错问题会浪费时间，并可能传播真正的风险。\n\n ## 保留还是替换\n\n 轻度落叶、设计价值高、当地规则可管理且愿意持续监测时，可以尝试保留。健康黄杨在取食停止后可能重新发芽，但不能保证。重复严重落叶、干旱、病害和季末损伤会显著削弱植物。\n\n 如果篱笆已基本成骨架、反复感染，或处置和维护负担太重，替换更理性。在压力上升地区新建花园时，黄杨不再是无脑默认选择。\n\n ## 替代植物要看地区\n\n 没有适合所有地方的黄杨替代品。部分气候下 Japanese holly 可模拟小叶和修剪形态；Inkberry holly 适合北美东部部分地区；yew 可提供常绿结构，但大小和毒性不同。矮生针叶、euonymus、ilex 品种、温和气候的 myrtle、薰衣草、germander 和本土灌木都可承担不同功能。\n\n 先确定任务：低矮正式边界、常绿背景、入口造型，还是更利于野生动物的花境。再向本地 extension 或可靠苗圃询问区域选择。\n\n ## 简单流程\n\n 扒开检查，拍照，隔离修剪物，查规则，处理或移除，7 至 14 天后复查。不要堆肥可疑枝叶，也不要随意运输。关键不是恐慌，而是先打开灌木，确认问题。\n\n ## 季节性复查和长期选择\n\n 如果你决定保留黄杨，后续管理不能只做一次处理。每周从不同方向扒开植株内部，尤其检查靠近墙角、入口、密植边界和新买苗木的位置。记录第一次发现幼虫的日期、处理日期、天气和复查结果。这样做能帮助你判断是同一批幼虫没有控制住，还是后续世代又开始取食。对长篱笆来说，分段记录比凭记忆更可靠：有些区域可能已经恢复，有些区域仍在内部被啃食。\n\n 不要把诱捕器当成单独解决方案。信息素诱捕器更适合监测成虫活动，提醒你何时加强检查；它们不能自动保护叶片，也不能替代对幼虫阶段的处理。看到成虫或诱捕数量上升时，应回到灌木内部找幼虫，而不是只看外层颜色。已经严重落叶的植株还要额外减轻压力：避免过度修剪，保持适度水分，别在高温和干旱时用刺激性处理，并等待新芽情况再判断是否还有恢复价值。\n\n 如果选择替换，也要把设计目标写清楚。你需要的是低矮直线、冬季常绿背景、入口两侧的正式造型，还是只是希望花坛边缘整洁？不同目标对应不同植物，不应只寻找“长得像黄杨”的名字。当地苗圃或 extension
