# What your word-practice statistics actually tell you

> Sessions, matched words, accuracy and a streak mean different things. Use each number to choose a small, useful next step.

 Practice statistics can be motivating, but only if you know what each number means. A rising total does not automatically mean every word is memorized, and a less-than-perfect accuracy score does not mean the session was wasted. Here is a practical way to read your HabloPablo profile.

 ## Sessions show repetition, not mastery

 The session count grows when you finish a word-pair round. A short review round counts as a session too. That is useful for building a routine, but it is not a grade for how well you know a language.

 The matched-word total adds up successful pairs across completed sessions. Repeat the same ten pairs three times and the total grows by 30, not by ten unique words. Think of it as **practice volume**, not vocabulary size.

 ## Accuracy shows where the friction is

 Accuracy compares correct matches with all pair attempts, including mistakes. A low number after one difficult round can be a reason to revisit a few pairs, not to abandon the whole list. On the result screen, **Practice mistakes** creates a focused round from the pairs you mixed up.

 Look at the trend rather than one isolated score. If a list that once caused several mismatches becomes easier after a short retry, you have learned something useful even before the overall percentage moves much.  ## Review words are a to-do list, not a verdict

 Words marked for review are pairs that caused errors and have not yet been cleared by a clean later session. The list changes as you practice. It is most helpful as an answer to a simple question: “What should I do for the next few minutes?”

 ## A streak is a reminder to return

 The active-day streak counts consecutive days with a completed practice session. The seven-day and monthly summaries give a broader view of your activity. They are useful if you want a gentle rhythm, but they are not a reason to study while exhausted. A missed day does not erase the words you already know.
