If a government demands a military draft—a system that requires people to serve in the armed forces, even if they never volunteered—then families should have another option: let our loved ones serve as medical healers, using artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) to help people survive and recover from war.

If our children are old enough to be demanded by a war, then surely we can demand that they be allowed to save lives instead.

Every group needs a healer. Soldiers need help recovering from trauma. Children need safe spaces to learn and heal. Refugees need emotional support, education, and hope. Families need help grieving, rebuilding, and finding peace. Even communities divided by conflict need people who can help them reconnect.

With proper training, professional oversight, and the right technology, medical and humanitarian teams could use AI and VR to expand access to education, psychological support, rehabilitation, and healing.

Our families are not just bodies to send into battle. They are hearts, minds, parents, children, husbands, wives, and human beings with the potential to save lives.

If a nation can demand service from its people, shouldn't those people have a meaningful choice to serve humanity through healing instead of fighting?

Keep your war laws off my family's body. Give our loved ones the option to become healers. Let them serve life.
