Publicasta
Terms of Service
Terms for using Publicasta, including accounts, channels, publishing, API access, moderation and paid features.
Effective date: 2026-06-08
These Terms of Service govern your use of Publicasta, a publishing service available at publicasta.com. The service is operated by To be defined, To be defined. If any company details are marked as “To be defined”, they will be completed before a full public commercial launch.
1. Agreement
By creating an account, signing in, publishing content, using the API or otherwise using Publicasta, you agree to these Terms, the Publishing Rules and the Privacy Policy. If you use Publicasta for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation.
2. What Publicasta provides
Publicasta lets authors create publishing channels, publish articles, manage translations, upload images, embed external videos, receive comments and reactions, and use API-based publishing tools where available. Features may change as the product develops.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for your account, API keys and activity performed through them. Keep your login credentials and API keys secure. If you believe an account or API key has been compromised, revoke the key where possible and contact [email protected].
You must provide accurate account information and must not create accounts to impersonate others, evade moderation, bypass restrictions or disrupt the service.
4. Channels, articles and user content
You keep ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content to Publicasta, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display, distribute, reproduce, resize, transcode, cache and technically adapt that content as needed to operate, secure and improve the service.
This licence includes content submitted through the API and applies to public pages, previews, sharing metadata, search and moderation systems. The licence ends when the content is deleted from active public service areas, except where retention is needed for backups, logs, legal compliance, safety, dispute handling or legitimate operational purposes.
5. Your responsibilities
You must ensure that your content is lawful, does not infringe third-party rights and complies with the Publishing Rules. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated or automated content before publication. You must not use Publicasta to store, distribute or promote unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing or abusive material.
6. Moderation and enforcement
We may review content before or after publication, manually, automatically or with third-party tools. We may refuse publication, return content to draft, block a translation, remove public access, hide comments, limit features, reduce account trust, suspend an account or take other proportionate action where we believe these Terms, the Publishing Rules, law, security or reader safety require it.
When a published article is edited, the current published version may remain public while a new revision waits for review. Scheduled articles may be reviewed before the scheduled time. Reports from readers may influence moderation and account trust.
If you believe we made a mistake, contact [email protected] and include the relevant URL, account email and a clear explanation.
7. API and automation
API access may be available only on certain account levels. You are responsible for all requests made with your API keys. Do not use the API to spam, scrape, overload, probe, attack, evade moderation, create deceptive engagement or submit content you have not reviewed.
We may rate-limit, suspend or revoke API access to protect the service, users or third parties. API behaviour, limits and endpoints may change, but we will try to avoid unnecessary breaking changes for stable API versions.
8. Paid features and account levels
Some features may depend on account level, plan, payment status or manual approval. Prices, limits and included features may change. If paid subscriptions are introduced, payment, renewal, cancellation, taxes and refund rules will be shown at checkout or in additional billing terms before purchase.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, paid access gives you the right to use the relevant features during the paid period; it does not guarantee permanent availability of every experimental feature.
9. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep Publicasta reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, incidents, infrastructure providers, security work or product changes. We may add, change or remove features where reasonably necessary.
10. Third-party services
Publicasta may rely on third-party services such as authentication providers, hosting, email, analytics, payment processors, moderation providers, video platforms or storage infrastructure. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for content or services operated by third parties.
11. Data and privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. You must not submit personal data about other people unless you have a lawful basis to do so. If you publish personal data in articles, comments or media, you are responsible for that publication.
12. Security and prohibited technical activity
You must not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, test vulnerabilities without permission, introduce malware, overload infrastructure, scrape at abusive scale, reverse engineer non-public systems or use Publicasta to attack others.
13. Intellectual property of the service
Publicasta, its interface, software, design, brand elements and documentation are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any rights in the service itself to you, except the limited right to use Publicasta as allowed by these Terms.
14. Termination
You may stop using Publicasta at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, misuse the API, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the service in a way that harms users, third parties or Publicasta.
Where practical and appropriate, we may give notice or an opportunity to fix the issue. Immediate action may be taken for serious abuse, legal risk, security incidents or attempts to evade enforcement.
15. Disclaimers
Publicasta is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that the service will meet every need, be available at all times, preserve every draft forever, increase readership, generate income, improve search ranking or make content legally compliant.
16. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, content decisions, third-party services or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for intentional misconduct where applicable law does not allow limitation.
17. Indemnity
If your content, API use or breach of these Terms causes claims, losses, costs or liability for Publicasta, you agree to reasonably cooperate and, where permitted by law, indemnify us against those claims, losses, costs and liabilities.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of To be defined, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules give you rights that cannot be waived. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product, law or business changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, for example through the service or account email. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept the updated Terms.
20. Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact [email protected]. For general contact, use [email protected].
