How to create a useful AI vocabulary topic
A simple formula for better HabloPablo vocabularies: describe the situation, add the learner level, and say what kind of words you need.

An AI vocabulary is only as useful as the topic you give it. HabloPablo can turn a short idea into a word list, but a vague prompt such as food can mean restaurant phrases, grocery items, kitchen tools, recipes, diets, or cooking verbs. A better topic gives the AI a useful boundary.
The simple formula is: situation + level + word type.
Start with a real situation
A topic works better when it describes where the words will be used. Compare these two prompts:
food
food and grocery shopping words for beginner Spanish
The second version is still short, but it tells the bot what kind of vocabulary to generate. You can use the same idea for travel, home, work, study, health, hobbies, or small everyday routines.
Add the learner level
Level changes the vocabulary a lot. Beginner topics should avoid rare, technical, or overly abstract words. Intermediate topics can include more specific verbs and common collocations. Advanced topics can be narrower and more professional.
Useful level hints:
- beginner;
- intermediate;
- everyday conversation;
- travel basics;
- work vocabulary;
- exam preparation.
You do not need a perfect language-learning label. A plain phrase like for a beginner is enough.
Say whether you need words, phrases, or verbs
For word-pair practice, ask for individual words. The matching game works best when every item is a clean pair: one word and one translation.
Good practice topics:
common Spanish verbs for daily actions, beginner level
home and apartment items, individual words only
For MP3 listening, short phrases can also be useful, but word practice should stay focused on separate words.
Five topics you can paste into HabloPablo
Try one of these in @HabloPabloBot:
food and grocery shopping words for beginner Spanish
common verbs for everyday Spanish conversation
home and apartment items, individual words only
work meeting vocabulary for intermediate English
travel basics: airport, hotel and city navigation
You can change the languages, level, and situation. The important part is not the exact wording, but the amount of context.
A quick check before sending
Before you send a topic, ask yourself one question: can I imagine where I will use these words?
If the answer is yes, the topic is probably useful. If the answer is no, add one more detail: the situation, the level, or the kind of words you want.
Open @HabloPabloBot, generate a small vocabulary, and test it in word practice. More guides and examples will appear on the HabloPablo channel.
